Biography

I attended film school in 2005 in Cape Town, completing a four-year program before working as a Director of Photography on a variety of small projects for two years. In 2011, I joined the feature film industry in South Africa as a camera trainee.

In 2012, I relocated to the United Kingdom to work on a feature film, where I began building my career in the UK industry. I progressed to the role of loader in 2013 and worked as a camera assistant for seven years across high-end television and feature films.

In 2020, I began operating and shooting unpaid short films and music videos, while also pulling focus for the Heligirlsalongside my work as a loader on high-end television and feature productions. That same year, I completed the GBCTSteadicam Course.

At the end of 2020, I made the decision to transition fully into camera operating, leaving my loading career behind to focus on operating full-time. Since then, I have worked extensively across high-end television, feature films, and commercials as both a Steadicam operator and camera operator on long-form productions and dailies, and I have been fortunate to maintain a consistently busy schedule.
