Peter began his career in broadcast television, rising through the ranks from vision mixer to studio director and producer/director. As a self-shooting PD, he discovered his passion for storytelling through the lens, bringing stories to life with striking visuals.
While filming BTS on Woody Harrelson’s live feature Lost in London, Peter met ACO members John Hembrough and the late Mark Millsome, whose influence inspired him to pursue the craft of camera operating. Since then, he’s trained extensively, completing the ACO Geared Head Day, ACO Introduction to Steadicam (with Pete Robertson and Alana Garrard), the Optical Support Steadicam Course with ACO Member Max Rijavec, and a Tiffen Gold Steadicam Workshop in Morocco led by Chris Fawcett and attended by Steadicam inventor Garrett Brown.
Recently, Peter operated on an Everyman Cinemas podcast title sequence, shooting with the Alexa 35 using Atlas Orion anamorphic lenses — a first on both counts. Although scheduling meant most shots were on a slider, he’s eager to bring his Steadicam experience to upcoming projects.
